"IF IT DOESN'T MOVE, MONOGRAM IT!"

Hey ya'll! Now if you're a country girl I'm sure you've heard the saying, "If it doesn't move, monogram it." But hey, words to live by right? I've always thought monograms were the number one way to personalize something and make it your own. I either dress shamelessly preppy or sporty and I love that monograms can fit in with any style. Anyway, here's my checklist of things I definitely want monogrammed in the future. Enjoy ♥

ON THE HUNT FOR: STATEMENT NECKLACES

Hey ya'll! Now I don't know about you, but I am LOVING the statement necklace trend. There's really nothing like a bright statement necklace to add a touch of girliness to an outfit. I'm currently on the hunt for the perfect statement necklace to go with a few spring dresses. Here's a few pieces I have my eye on ♥

COUNTRY GIRL'S GUIDE TO: SWEET TEA

Hey ya'll! So I'd say if you're a true-bred southerner you can't get enough of your sweet tea. I'm sure it's pretty obvious sweet tea is at the top of my favorite drinks list since I'm doing a whole blog post on it. But can you really blame me? (Didn't think so). Fun fact: In 2003, a Georgia state representative tried to pass a house bill requiring all restaurants to serve sweet tea. The representative insists it was an April Fools' Day joke but admits he wouldn't have minded it becoming law. Anyway, today I'm going to be sharing with you my recipe for sweet tea; I found the original recipe on Pinterest here, but I've made some small changes to my taste. Give it a try ♥

Ingredients:
8 cups of water (divided)
2 family sized tea bags, or 4 regular sized
2/3 a cup of sugar

Instructions:
1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot
2. Remove from heat, add tea bags and let steep covered for 10-15 minutes
3. After done steeping, squeeze out any extra flavour and remove from the tea
4. Add sugar and stir to dissolve (Important: tea must still be warm or sugar will not properly dissolve)
5. Add remaining 4 cups of water and stir
